Woman found dead at bottom of La Jolla cliff

LA JOLLA (CNS) – A woman’s body was found Sunday on the shoreline below the cliffs in La Jolla, police said.

At 6:40 a.m., someone found the body about 75 feet below the cliffs near the 1300 block of Coast Walk, north of Torrey Pines Road, according to Officer Tony Martinez of the San Diego Police Department.

Lifeguards recovered the body, which was taken with a Jet Ski to La Jolla Shores, where they met with officials from the county Medical Examiner’s Office.

There was no additional information on the victim, Martinez said.

The home is Habitat for Humanity’s first 3D-printed home in the nation, according to a Habitat news release. Janet V. CANTON, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio high school football player who says coaches forced him to eat a pizza covered with pepperoni grease in violation of his religious beliefs is suing his former district and the ousted coaches. The former Canton McKinley High School athlete and his parents filed a federal civil rights suit this week seeking millions of dollars in damages and alleging violations of his religious freedom and constitutional rights.
